This one was shot indoors (kind of cheating) in a well lit room. Being inside certainly helps keep the orchid still and also stops me getting cold. I can also enjoy a nice coffee at the same time.

Anyway suffice to say I started snapping away at what no one else wanted to take pictures of. This is the sunrise through the railings (where no one else was standing).
Straight out of camera (with a little crop)
I just love the colours here and the fact the silhouette isn’t totally black.
So what is the collective noun for photographers?

This shot came about as a result of getting up ridiculously early to get across to the west side of Scotland. I really do love my bed too much to enjoy getting up at this time of day.
These two wrecks were left at the Clyde River end of the Forth and Clyde Canal at Bowling. Bowling sits on the river Clyde west of Glasgow and east of Dumbarton. I love this picture because of the blue colours contrasting with the sky. The peaceful water really helps as well.
Here are some stats on the picture.
Exposure: 10 seconds
Focal Length: 20 mm
ISO Speed: 100
I’ve started to use WordPress on my site now to show my new pictures off. I’m hoping it’s going to be an improvement. So far it’s been really easy to integrate into the main part of the site. Let’s see how it goes.
