Clyde Auditorium

The iconic Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow, Scotland. A fantastic building that is locally known as the Armadillo. I’ve seen a few people in there. Among them the legend that is Billy Connolly.

I think that Giraffe is eyeing me up!

Giraffe

This giraffe headshot is proof that he/she was keen to make eye contact with me on my last trip to Blairdrummond Safari Park in Stirlingshire, Scotland. I love going to Blairdrummond Safari Park when the weather isn’t too hot but the sun is shining. If it’s too hot then the animals are all sleeping and hidden in shade. If it’s too dull then the picks aren’t interesting. If you can fight through the crowds then it’s definitely worth the effort to get to see them all. Especially the giraffes. They look like such ungainly creatures yet they have such versatility. Reaching high up into the branches or low down to the ground to eat.

You can see more of my Blairdrummond pictures here, here, here and here. There are more on my Facebook page.

The red tiled roofs of Bergamo

I love Italy. We’ve been so many times. This was our first trip to the north of the country and I must say it’s just as beautiful up north as it is down south.
